CrossWalk has two on the board, and the WLC president is from CrossWalk.

GJ - WLC is Brigagoon-WELS because the school is WELS when raising funds from WELS, but not WELS when getting into trouble for having Archbishop Weakland (Roman Catholic homosexual predator) or Martin Marty (ELCA church historian, LCMS apostate) as featured speakers.
Notice that St. Marcus/Time of Gath is also represented on the board.
Years ago, David Valleskey and Larry Olson (Our Staph Infection) were on the WLC board, so let us not be shocked about WLC's doctrinal fibrillation.
WLC began Charis, and Charis begat Church and Change. Church and Change lay with Fuller Seminary and begat many sons. They named their firstborn Ski and their second Jeff.

Get your facts straight, moron. Crosswalk may not be WELS but it is in fellowship with. Why don't you state the reason why Mr. Know It All. Crosswalk does offer Communion in the strictest sense of closed Communion. You are full of lies and half truths. Your father is Lucifer.
Mighty Mouse
Well, now we all know what effective argumentation and constructive criticism are all about. Notice how Mighty Mouse refuses to deal with the facts at hand: CrossWalk and St. Marcus are two of the great centers of Church Growth in WELS. CrossWalk WAS in fact denied membersship in the WELS, and CrossWalk does everything it can to hide its so-called Lutheranism on its website. You, Mr. Mouse, are the one presenting half-truths and distortions.
Mouse,
Greg Jackson a liar? Was he lying when 20 years ago he was trying to bring to the attention of the proper authorities that CG methods were being employed? They denied it with every breath, but now openly admit to it. Their fruits show in full view of all who will look on in horror.
Was he lying when he was paid criticism for publishing "Liberalism, It's Cause and Cure" which lightly pointed out CGM in WELS? Again it can be easily verified by their own words by their own admitions and again by their fruit.
The proof is in the pudding my friend and the pudding is starting to smell really bad in WELS. I personally and continually see more and more, am offended more and more and have more and more people tell of their "weirded out" feelings they get when attending Emergent WELS congregations. Something is going on and you can't deny it. You cannot escape it and by God's grace, maybe you will wake up and try to do something about it as I have.
Bullocks
Ok...so if Greg Jackson is all wrong about CrossWalk, then explain this statement, from Crosswalk's own websty, to me! How is this not essentially rejecting the efficacy of the Word and Sacrament?
Hate Going to Church?
If you hate going to church, we understand.
Studies show that many men—and more and more women too—will not even set foot inside a church today. Way too much of church is boring and irrelevant. Many of us feel like we don't have time. We don't want to be constantly asked for money. And frankly, many of us believe church is for wimps. Beyond all that, the number one reason most of us don't like to go to church is obvious—there are way too many hypocrites there!
If you hate going to church, CrossWalk was built with you in mind. At CrossWalk we're casual in our approach, yet what we have to communicate is extremely serious stuff. We strive to make every message and every service relevant and applicable to real life, as well as excellent in quality. At the same time, you can come to church in your jeans, or your shorts (or even in your jean shorts) and feel perfectly comfortable in one of our services. Grab a cup of coffee and a bagel on your way in and settle in for a high-octane hour of power-learning about God.
The early Christians were not lambs. They were lions—take-charge people who risked everything they had to serve God. They fought valiantly for their faith in God. They spoke their minds and stepped on toes, especially the toes of the religious establishment. They were true leaders—tough guys and gals who were both feared and respected in their communities. They weren't always "saintly," but they had an intense commitment to God and to his message. That's the kind of church CrossWalk is striving to become.
If you're looking for a church that will—
* Meet you wherever you're at
* Engage you where your soul meets real life
* Teach you, not preach at you
* Help you really deeply understand what's in the Bible
* Challenge you to whole-hearted faith in God
* And do all of that in a way that's not wimpy or hypocritical
—then, we challenge you to check out CrossWalk! You won't go away disappointed. That's our promise.
