Simple Solution for Christmas Programs

Many churches keep old Christmas programs and use them again. The classic Christmas programs are the same - the sedes doctrinae of the Virgin Birth and traditional Christmas hymns.

I think the old LCA programs, because they used this format, were better than sitting around on couches, for pity's sake.

IDK, in the 80's there was a "national" WELS campain complete with tv comercials something to do with "Grace-Plan" along that lines (forgive me I was only in grade school). I don't think there was 1 traditional hymn in it -- we learned it and I even still remember some of the songs, there was one especially beautiful song, "Grace Gift" in it that is still being used. But my kids have recycled the "Cross in the Christmas Tree" that I had in grade school as well. Some of the services are just classics and beautiful, well deserved to be recycled.
