Here's some advice to the college- aged. If you are commenting negatively (or confrontational)on this blog then you better make sure your t's are crossed. If you are posting as an authority on a subject then assume you just might be googled to see what kind of creditable character you bring to the discussion. If you are brave enough to publish your name then please double check your profile on my space, facebook, blog posts, youtube videos of you are all worthy of your Christian mother's approval. If it's not than maybe you better just post anonymous.
I've been in some situations when I was your age and I certainly don't want to that to reflect on my character today, but I also don't boast about the sins I've committed or joked about committing with pictures and videos on the internet. Honestly, I would have blushed (if not from guilt, out of embarrassment) if I acted as Matthias did in the video and my mother watched.

GJ - Published means public, as in world-wide public, 24/7. So-called security levels do not mean much on Facebook or anywhere else. Some people are just too smart to know that. Erasing the file and latching the door are often too late to matter and too obvious to the discerning.

Seemed to work just fine in the case of the non-offensive Luther Vs. Sprinter video. Or can you still find it somewhere, Pastor Jackson? MLC uploaded it after all, according to Brett Meyer.

Awhile back I was watching a program on US Navy SEAL training. The SEAL instructor said to one of the trainees, "Your reputation in the SEAL community starts now". MLC students, its the same for you. Long gone are the days when "what happens in New Ulm stays in New Ulm." This is particularly true of what you put on the internet. If you were to be my student teacher, you better believe I'm checking your Facebook page. If you come to be my vicar, I'm doing the same thing. If you're my new pastor or teacher I will be interested in what kind of person you are. New technologies can be fun, but watch how you use them. Anonymous is giving you good advice, I hope all of you are listening.
Yes, MLC uploaded the offensive video Kfax. And it did run on YouTube until you assisted in it's removal. I recently thanked you for that on a previous thread.
I see you're back with your insolent comments. I believe the last time we talked you blamed me, and others like me, for your leaving MLC. This information immediately followed the exposure of your Myspace page which was vulgar, supremely offensive and contained enough information to have you and your friend brought up on child abuse charges for what you exposed the 8 year old girl to. Your comments at the time were less insolent and included an excuse that you couldn't remember the password to delete the web site. Seems you found the password as it's no longer available for reference. It's good that you removed it, bad that you've now returned to being cocky and self absorbed.

Sorry Brett, that MySpace page was not actually maintained by me. I emailed the friend who made it for me and told him to cancel it. I don't even have the login information. If I recall correctly, those blog posts were lifted from a comedy website back in 2006 when it was made during high school. Sorry for any offense, I'm not even sure what "8-year old girl" it's talking about. In addition, I am withdrawing from MLC at semester, I no longer have a desire to work in the synod for several reason, mostly because of people like you. So I guess God has granted yours and the rest of the WELS' wish already, I won't be molesting any children here.
Also, learn some grammar. Have a nice day!

No more cocky and self-absorbed than anyone else on this blog. Also, as I said before, MLC didn't upload the video, a student of MLC did. The whole school cannot be held accountable for his/her actions. And yes, I was able to locate the password, and good thing too. Like I said, it wasn't maintained by me, including the blog posts. Whatever 8-year old girl it was talking about is nonexistent, those jokes were lifted from marriedtothesea comics if I recall correctly. But I'm sure you'll agree it's best not to have early high school-era attitudes attached to my name. At least, that's when I think they were created.
Anyways, my apologies if I have come off as cocky and self-absorbed, but I felt that the whole misuse of information with the Holland video was a bit on the extreme side and completely unnecessary, and my extreme distaste in the whole ordeal probably showed up in my posts. Again, apologies.
