Mark Jeske, Fifth Generation WELS, Is Now Missouri, More or Less

Mark Jeske is featured in a brochure about a Missouri Synod retreat, which I converted to a PNG above. If you left-click on it, you can read the type better. You can also enlarge the image from that point with the control mouse-wheel command.

In the brochure Jeske has no synod except the LCMS. Time of Grace is a Missouri Synod Real Sexy Organization. In order to get Real Sexy Organization status in the LCMS, certain rules have to be followed. The RSO status allows the group to solicit LCMS congregations and entities for funds. RSO is St. Louis for kosher.
The biggest laugh is his People's Commentary volume, from Concordia Publishing House. Gentle readers, as Shakespeare (Oxford) used to say, the actual publisher is always named. As far as I know, CPH is merely selling it. The sales organization is not the publisher, just the vendor. For further details, check with Paul McCain, who blogs for CPH from a spare bedroomin his house. If the brochure had said Northwestern Publishing House, people might have suspected Jeske was WELS.
Fuller begat Charis at Wisconsin Lutheran College, and Charis began Church and Change. Jeske, as a leading Changer, begat The CORE to get Ski and Katie out of Milwaukee. The CORE begat doctrinal confusion and division as Ski and Glende plagiarized Groeschel for all their sermons.
Jeske is coming out with a Time of Grace book. This, from CPH:

Pastor Mark Jeske brings the Word of God to viewers through his outreach media ministry Time of Grace. The Time of Grace weekly 30-minute program is broadcast on six continents to 660 million households. Pastor Jeske calls the little daily devotions in this book "Bible studies for busy people" in the hope that these short meditations will soothe the soul and give encouragement and hope for tomorrow.

The dominate theme of each devotion is grace - the amazing promise of Scripture that God chooses to love unlovely people. Note lines are provided for the reader to write thoughts and reflect on what was read.

Pastor Mark Jeske is an author, former missionary, accomplished instrumentalist, amateur historian, and senior pastor at St. Marcus Lutheran Church.

WELS members - make your check out to the LCMS South Wisconsin District! The DP is John Wille, a Mequon, NWC, and NW Prep graduate, just like Jeske.
