Trivializing Faith Comes from the Anti-Confessionals

What denomination is Crossroads?
Guess. No guess again. Another guess.
OK, look up the URL. Surprise!

L P has left a new comment on your post "Bourman's Justification without Faith Essay":

For Luther (so says Althaus), justification is received with faith, that is in the form of faith. Faith is the work and gift of God. God justifies a man by giving him faith. Christ is the righteousness of men and to this extent this righteousness is outside of us. But Christ is my righteousness only if I appropriate him and make him my own. Faith is the only way in which Christ can give himself to me.

----P.Althaus. The Theology of Martin Luther, p.231.
(emphasis, his).

UOJ trivializes faith in the Gospel. It makes one indifferent to it. Since faith is something trivial, what is left then but wondering off somewhere like Church Growth, Church fads etc and what have you?

Stop attending church, now. There is no need to attend. Keep your offerings and use them to satisfy yourself. UOJ has taken care of everything with respect to your salvation. You do not even need to know that you are saved. It eliminates the need for any kind of organized religion. In fact it is useless to bother with churches.
