Pr. GJ,
Matthew Harrison's book leaves out the most important LCMS father,
George Christian Knapp.
We call this self-induced amnesia.
LPC
ICHABOD, THE GLORY HAS DEPARTED - explores the Age of Apostasy, predicted in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, to attack Objective Faithless Justification, Church Growth Clowns, and their ringmasters. The antidote to these poisons is trusting the efficacious Word in the Means of Grace. John 16:8. Isaiah 55:8ff. Romans 10. Most readers are WELS, LCMS, ELS, or ELCA. This blog also covers the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodoxy, and the Left-wing, National Council of Churches denominations.

One can tell right away what the main issue of Harrison's synodical presidency will be. The LCMS et al, and especially Rev Rolph Preus, will have to go through a five-step Kübler-Ross process to deal with Walther's knapping. Of course, with alcohol abuse so rampant in the Midwest, some will have to go through a 17-step process: first the 12-step AA program, and then the Kübler-Ross steps: 1. Denial and Isolation. 2. Anger. 3. Bargaining. 4. Depression. 5. Acceptance.

GJ - So far they refuse to deal with the concrete evidence of UOJ being kelmed from Knapp by the Conference. I imagine, based upon unwarranted optimism, that someone at a seminary will discover the facts in about 20 years. Few will accept that unless a Synodical expert says so.

Today, I was on Twitter and read a couple of Mariqueen Maandig's tweets and she is blatant in her satanism. Please see [omitted].

GJ - I read the recent MQ Tweets. The latest featured an ultra-violent, bloody, gory scene in which there are several dead or dying people. MQ seems to be consumed in flames as she continues to mouth words. She has a bullet wound in her head. A big pool of blood is on the floor, near a man who is apparently dead. This must be her new video, on pitchfork.com.

Ski Skorzewski and his family love baseball. "There's nothing like baseball" Skorzewski said.
"There's nothing like baseball" Skorzewski said.
When they lived in Milwaukee, they regularly attended Brewers games. So when they moved to Appleton two years ago, one of the first things they did was purchase season tickets to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, which plays at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute.
Baseball is a great family activity, Skorzewski said.
"We spend a lot of time at the park," he said, noting that his family, which includes 12- and 10-year-old daughters and a 3-year-old son, is also hosting a player. "We really feel like the ballpark is our home."
The Skorzewskis have more reasons this season to feel a part of the team, thanks to the Timer Rattlers Kids Crew, a program geared toward kids ages 12 and under.
"It was created specifically for our younger fans that enjoy coming out to the ballpark," group sales representative Dayna Haddock said.
For a $20 yearly membership fee, kids can get an official Kids Crew backpack, membership card with lanyard, 10 free tickets to every Wednesday home game, a monthly e-newsletter from Fang, discount to the Snake Pit Team Store, exclusive invitation to Fang's Birthday in July, an opportunity to be the Kids Crew Lineup Card Kid and an opportunity to attend a pizza party or ice cream party with Fang and Timber Rattlers players.
"The Kids Crew was created to give young fans unique opportunities that most fans do not get a chance to experience," said Sarah Heth, director of corporate marketing and community relations.
The kids enjoy wearing their lanyards like the game day staff, Heth said.
"The kids seem to get a real kick out of looking official," she said. "We have seen a lot being worn around the ballpark … already."
Membership in the club is expected to grow once school is out, Haddock said.
"I think the response thus far is great," she said. "I believe we will get a lot more kids signed up when school is out for the summer and the weather gets a little warmer."
Skorzewski enrolled his two girls because it allows them to see more games with their own tickets.
"I think it's a good deal," he said. "It allows them to interact with other kids. It allows them to manage their passes. They know they have a certain amount of tickets."
Jen Foucault of Neenah is excited her children can participate in the Kids Crew.
"My husband and I both grew up in the Milwaukee area and as kids were both members of the Brewer Pepsi Fan Club for many years," the mother of a 7-year-old and 5-year-old twins said. "We both went to many games as kids and still remember going with our parents and siblings. Now the Rattlers have a similar program, and we hope our kids will also have the same great baseball memories that we do."
The Foucault family also enjoys baseball and love the Kids Crew package.
"It is a lot less expensive to take a family to a Rattler game than a Brewer game and even more of a value now with the kids club," she said. "Any unused tickets can be traded in for a grass seat for any game. You can't go wrong. Most are day games, and my oldest son is in school for a few, but I can still bring my 5-year-old twins, even if it's only for a few hours."
Haddock said Timber Rattlers games are great for families.
"We try to make it very affordable for families to enjoy a night out," she said.
The games are ideal for both baseball fans and non-baseball fans, she added.
"We provide in-game entertainment and also provide entertainment in other areas," Haddock said.
The most popular family day is Fridays, where kids 12 and under eat free, kids run the bases post-game and families can enjoy fireworks beginning June 11.
There are many changes at Time Warner Cable Field this year, including a new beach area, Haddock said.
"This is a great area for kids to bring their beach toys and play in the sand," she said, noting that the beach area is located in right field and "is a great place for families to play and still enjoy a great view of the game."
There are also more box seats and a new all-you-can-eat area. Inflatables have been added to the kid zone as well as a new jungle gym, Haddock said.
Families also can get involved with birthday party packages, special activities and game days.
Two free baseball camps will be available in June and August for kids ages 7 to 14. Reggy, the Purple Party Dude, a traveling mascot, will be at the Timber Rattlers games being held at Miller Park on May 7 and at Time Warner Cable Field on May 8 and 9. On June 25, the stadium will host its second annual peanut-free night.
"We will clear the ballpark of all peanut, peanut-dust products and give those fans with a peanut allergy a chance to enjoy a game without worry," said Haddock, noting that other activities that night include a Webkinz giveaway, an autograph signing by Iron Man and a fireworks show.
Fang celebrates his birthday July 16 with a bunch of his mascot friends. Star Wars characters will be in attendance June 12, and Spiderman will appear Aug. 6.
Starting June 11, fireworks will take place every Friday and Saturday night immediately following the game.
"I think the affordable prices and the fun atmosphere is the main factor in bringing families back season after season," Haddock said.

Anticonfessionals from Church and Change run the WELS periodical. Jim Aderman was a founder of C & C, was fired as a pastor for shrinking his church, and has served or serves as a regular contributing FIC author. Other past and present Chicanery FICaries are: Peter Pan-denominational, Kudu Don Patterson, Frosty Bivens, David Valleskey, Paul Calvin Kelm, Joel Gerlach, Wayne Mueller, Jim Huebner, Larry Oh!, etc.
Everyone is whining about ELCA's latest venture into diversity. ELCA is getting rid of CORE (anti-gay agenda) clergy on the roster. They are threatening to expel any congregation belonging to another denomination, such as LCMC or CORE's new entity. The seminary faculties are all behind these moves and support draconian measures to enforce the 2009 votes.
I respect ELCA for being honest about their beliefs and acting on them. They are just the opposite of the Syn Conference.
WELS claims to have fellowship principles, but Parlow, Kelm, and Trapp have belonged to the Willow Creek denomination without being disciplined. Their congregations have joined Willow Creek without being kicked out. (Ditto ELS, LCMS, and CLC (sic) examples, with some minor variations.)
ELCA advocates homosexual and lesbian pastor couples, homosexual weddings, the entire gay agenda - almost to the exclusion of heterosexuality. Any deviation from deviancy is called homophobia and roundly condemned. The Syn Conference is supposedly straight, but they have been doing joint work with ELCA since the 1987 merger, with the ALC and LCA before that.
The Syn Conference is supposed pro-life, but they have been cosy with ELCA, even though ELCA pays for clergy abortions through its health plan. ELCA uses its World Hunger money (with starving babies on the posters) to pay for political lobbyists all over North America, to advocate abortion on demand as a legal right.
ELCA practices unionistic worship because ELCA favors full-throttle ecumenism. In contrast, WELS and Missouri and the Little Sect are outwardly opposed to this, but...
1. WELS Pastor Ski brags about worshiping with the Babtists at the Drive conference. It is posted on his public blog and left there for everyone to enjoy. Bishop Katie boasts that there were 8 WELS church workers there. No discipline. No sir. Instead, Ski is a expert speaker at Mary Lou College, Jeske, and Deputy Doug district events. Ditto Kelm, Huebner, and the rest. (Imagine ELCA tolerating a second-in-command who is an ardent Triglotta, KJV, Luther-first orthodox pastor! Huebner is the equivalent of that polar opposite in WELS. And he went to Fuller Seminary.)
2. WELS and Missouri have devoted themselves to promoting the very doctrine they supposedly reject - Enthusiasm.
3. To train pastors and leaders, WELS and Missouri ship truckloads of money to Fuller, Trinity Divinity, Willow Creek, Drive, and Exponential - but they are against unionism.
4. Syn Conference leaders cannot articulate a clear Lutheran message. In contrast, Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson is the darling of the ecumenical Left. He is their poster boy, their white Obama, for forcing unwanted change upon his denomination, getting away with it, and enforcing his edicts.
5. The Syn Conference is supposedly scandalized by ELCA cuddling up to the Antichrist, His Holiness the Pope. However, the ELS invited a bishop to march with them in their religious dedication service - where he spoke; WELS had the homosexual archbishop and his scrofulous priests teach at WLC; and Missouri sends its finest to Rome and Constantinople, thanks to papalists on their seminary faculties.
6. Thrivent doles out money based on ELCA's agenda, and the Syn Conference has both trotters in the trough.
7. The Episcopal Church, the weak sister partner of ELCA, watches while entire dioceses leave the denomination with their bishops - all united in fighting the PB's lawsuits against them. However, ELCA has not had a single active bishop leave the synod. Nor has an entire group of congregations left at once. ELCA's leader looks like the reference librarian at the public library, but he takes no prisoners.
The Syn Conference is very strict in one area of doctrinal discipline. Although they are in bed with every denomination, every orientation, and the Lavender Mafia, they make a point of marking and avoiding me. For that I am grateful. I do not think I could stand the purity of their doctrine, the integrity of their confession of faith, the honesty of their practice.

2oo babies baptized in one year!
Those German immigrants were coming in by the boat loads. Now Jeske, it is 100 years later and more Lutheran churches have been built. Perhaps your faith lies in the Fleck Foundation. Maybe the LCMS? I know pastors who started a mission church on a shoe string budget. This was done without church growth gimmicks.(the pastor went out in the community and talked one-on-one with people) According to my source, this was no get rich quick scheme. The sad part is that these same churches with humble beginnings, are being lead by C&C/CG pastors. Jeske, do you subscribe to the Holy Scripture and the BOC? "Change or die." Sorry Mark Jeske, I will not sell my soul!
In Christ,
from WELS church lady
Deputy Doug Englebrecht presides over a Church and Change district. The Changers run everything...into the ground.
The chairman of Church and Change is Ron Ash, formerly of St. Peter Freedom.
The pastor of The CORE Lutheran Church is Ski, a board member of Church and Change. He and Bishop Katie came from Jeske's non-denominational church in Milwaukee. Jeske is the Church and Change rock star, because he lives off more government grants than Headstart.
The pastor of St. Mark Willow Creek, John Parlow, is a key figure in Church and Change.
St. Mattthew has been shrinking under its Church and Change growth program. I heard it is down to 100 members. Soon it will be as small as The CORE.
Deputy Doug is busy stamping out any traces of Lutheran doctrine and worship. Re-elect Deputy Doug, so he can finish his work.

GJ - While WELS members were being pumped to give money to Jeske, he was avoiding any mention of his affiliation. Is he Lutheran? No one would know from his disjointed show for people with short attention spans.
WELS pastors supposedly have a quia subscription to the Book of Concord. Therefore, every single thing done by WELS' secret lodge, Church and Change, is a lie. All their work is founded upon anti-Lutheran doctrine, from the Babtists, Reformed, Pietists, and New Age occultists. They learned this apostasy at the Sausage Factory in Mequon. No one seems to notice.
WELS Pastor Bill Limmer is asking money for his generic Time of Grace campus ministry. He just sent out a letter with an offering envelope. he also advertised his sermons: Five Lies of the Devil. They are also posted on his websty.
Funny thing is - his latest series is copied from a Babtist church. Five Limmer sermons follow the same themes and texts as the five Babtist sermons.
NewSpring Babtist - Five Lies of the Devil.
1. Church and Change is Lutheran.
2. Church and Change is engaged in evangelism rather than sheep-stealing.
3. Church and Change pastors labor in the vineyard instead of lolling around at the conferences of false teachers.
4. Church and Change pastors write their sermons, studying the Scriptures and the Confessions, instead of copying and pasting them from false teachers.
5. Church and Change benefits the Wisconsin Synod and deserves financial support.
Satan. Beelzebub. Lucifer. The red scaly guy with a bifurcated tail, pitchfork in hand. Whatever image your mind conjures up when you think about the devil, the Bible is very clear about who he is and what he does.
He tempts (Mark 1:13). He accuses (Zechariah 3:1). He condems (John 13:2). Sometimes he puts evil thoughts into your head (John 13:2). He steals. And kills. And destroys (John 10:10). And he lies (John 8:44). He hates the truth. He schemes and whispers and manipulates, anything to convince you to believe what he says.
But you don't have to believe him. You can fight back. Beginning in August at NewSpring, join us for Five Lies of the Devil as we learn some common untruths the devil uses, and how to find the truth in every situation.

Not that it matters all that much, but Monkey Joe's is very much alive and well. My wife and I think that the property in question might be the former Springz building. It was an indoor family amusement center that featured go carts, mini bowling, rock climbing, arcade games, and a restaurant. It did, indeed, go belly up after it had been open for only about four months a few years ago. Someone I know actually worked there.

To stop these marauding, adulterous thieves, who rob widows and orphans while mocking the Word and Sacraments, a force must be applied against them, equal to or greater than the force of their false doctrine.
Just who is their god? They smugly insist that they do it for god. Their infirm god needs them to “rob widows and orphans?” Their lame god cannot create all the money that they want? They really are false teachers and preachers.

GJ - A man left his estate to WELS with the provision that his widow be supported. This case is called MilCraft or the Golf estate. I may have Golf misspelled. WELS wrecked the prosperous business. The widow had to go to court to get the money wasted by WELS. The synod did not want to pay. The court listened to the facts and found for the widow, forcing WELS to ante up $1 million. That just about pushed WELS over the edge financially. Gurgle was the genius DP in charge of this fiasco. Therefore, the conservative made him their dream candidate for SP, where he did the same with the Schwan millions. That is the plot behind my hilarious parody - "Where Have All the Schwan Bucks Gone?" Now Gurgle is working with Kudu Don Patterson.
If the widow's case moved along as most lawsuits do, her lawyer asked the synod to settle out of court, to save everyone time and money. It is clear that the synod refused to accept responsibility, so robbing a widow was OK with them. It took a secular court to reverse the robbery, doubtless an unpleasant experience for the widow. Imagine what her late husband would have thought - his business ruined and his widow robbed at the same time.
When all this was done and the matter was public, WELS said, "We have to be careful about the gifts we accept from now on." It is difficult to attribute actions and claims like these to believers.
