Ministry change
The St. Andrew Planning Council has decided to end our ministry through our Waunakee location.
More about our Waunakee campus
At our site in Waunakee, we’re trying to break down some of the barriers that make people uncomfortable with typical churches. So, instead of pews or rows, we have couches and comfy chairs. You’re welcome -- even encouraged -- to drink coffee or eat a donut during worship. Because God cares about our hearts, not our clothing, don’t worry about dressing up.
We’re also trying to focus on building our relationship with God and with each other. After we watch the sermon on video screens, there’s an informal discussion about the big ideas of the message and how they apply to our lives. The music is a mix of traditional and contemporary, and we’ve scaled back the spoken parts of the service to focus on the basic elements God looks for as His people worship. We ask for prayer requests each week, but many of us still prefer to communicate with God privately.
