Concordia Univ. official said to be OK after car goes over cliff in Mequon - TODAY'S TMJ4:

MEQUON - The head of Concordia University security was said to be OK after his car went over a cliff and partially went into the shore of Lake Michigan Monday morning, according to TODAY'S TMJ4's Todd Hicks.

Hicks reports that Mario Valdes was driving a new car at the campus on Monday when his accelerator became stuck.

Valdes' car then went over a cliff, traveled 200-300 feet, struck an embankment, then went over rocks before hitting the shore.

Chopper 4 shows the car's edge having gone in Lake Michigan on an embankment along the lakeshore.  It appeared as if the car was not completely submerged.

The university said in a statement that Valdes was able to walk away from his car under his own power.

He not seriously injured, but was being checked out at a hospital as a precaution.

Wow! That had to have been scary! So glad to here he's O.K.

(Typo intentional. Have fun "sic"ing it. I know you want to do it.)

A simple search of Joel's childish comments on Ichabod and other blogs reveal a similar trend as the above example.

Brett,

Thanks, ever so much, for the psychological diagnosis. Now I won't have to go to therapy today.

Actually, the simple truth of the matter is that I am a smart a**.

Thanks for the effort, though.
