GJ - I looked over the St. Peter Cares monthly newsletter, which is posted on their websty. They engage in constant fund-raisers like the one above. The message broadcast to the community is, "We cannot support ourselves, so we sell and promote stuff so you can help us meet our budget."
That is quite a message from people who had $250,000 to spend on the start-up of The CORE evening sheep-stealing services, with Ski as the ring-master, channeling Groeschel via the leadership wisdom of Andy Stanley.
I always wonder, "How much lower can they go?" And they provide more fodder for this humble little blog.
