As we have said for many years - the war between the Lutheran Synod's central and chief doctrine of Universal Objective Justification verses one Justification solely by Faith Alone is not one of individuals talking past one another. It is not an issue of "but we both require faith to be eternally saved". It is not an issue of expressing false characterizations of the false gospel of UOJ. It is two doctrines that are eternally and completely opposed to one another - a great gulf fixed between them (Luke 16:26).
Matthew 6:24, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."
May the Lord Jesus Christ strengthen and preserve Pastor Rydecki and his family as they faithfully defend the chief article of Christ's doctrine in these last days unto life everlasting.

As Pr. Nathan alluded, the WELS leadership must be dead envious of Pr. Rydecki's ability to stand for the truth.
We all knew it was a matter of time and we saw it coming so no surprises to Synod bullying. Pr. Rydecki did well, he tried to work with his Synod in peace but perhaps now, peace will not be possible. In which case, their blood will be upon them and the best course now is for Pr. Rydecki to wipe off the dust from his feet as a testimony against them.
