Boisclair Enjoys Jumping to Conclusions

LPC has left a new comment on your post "Boisclair Clearly Upset by Spelling and Orthodox L...":

Rev. Boisclair continues to commit the fallacy of Dicto Simpliciter jumping to conclusions.

Proof:
The moment faith is mentioned, he concludes - well that is the work of man. Who says that it is the work of man? Does the BoC do this? Does Scripture do this?

In Mark Jesus spoke about faith many times.
Mk 1:11. By this verse - did Jesus mean that faith is a work because he said "repent and believe the Gospel"?

When Jesus spoke to Jairus in Mk 5:36, do not fear only believe, did Jesus mean, work your faith and bad luck if you don't work it up?

No where in Romans most specially in chapters 4 and 5 will we see St. Paul suggesting that faith is a work in fact faith in Christ is contrasted to works of the Law so faith in Christ is of an entirely different category but most definitely anti-thesis of works.

So Bosclair is showing UOJ typical fallacy, a gambit.

LPC, is correct. UOJists want to claim the faith that is created by acceptance of objective justification is not a work of man but a gracious gift of God. But they scream - "if men are solely justified by faith in Christ alone then that faith is a synergistic work of man."

Wait! They can't have it both ways. In either case faith is a gracious gift of God and yet at its core UOJ confesses faith is a work attributed to man. The false gospel of UOJ requires a confession regarding faith that is completely contrary to Scripture. God's Word teaches that the faith created by the Holy Spirit is Christ's righteousness of which Christ is the Author and Finisher of it. Christ's faith is not ever a work of man.

Clear evidence that UOJ is a false doctrine.
