I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4

What would John the Baptist do? - Comfort for Christians

What would John the Baptist do? - Comfort for Christians:

"How do you think John the Baptist would act today?

Do you think he would be okay with the idea that there are many ways to God?

Do you think he would believe in morality that changes through the years?

Would he keep quiet when he heard about child abusing pastors being protected by conservative and evangelical religious leaders?2

Scripture seems clear that John the Baptist would stand firm and allow himself to be derided and shamed for holding to God’s truth.

And so should you."
