The Faith of Jesus - Against the Faithless Lutherans |
ByTMKon March 3, 2016
The false doctrine of universal objective justification --UOJ-- explains why the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod [sic] has morphed into such an abusive, alcoholic sect where the leaders of Team WELS treat individuals and churches so unbiblicaly. Dr. Jackson does a great job of explaining the error of UOJ in toto. TMK

Rock solid explanation of justification BY FAITH, a concept rejected throughout much of the church today. Dr. Jackson does a great service by presenting, clearly and accurately, the clear teachings of Scripture.

Bishop Jackson is hands down the best writer of Christian polemics books in our age. This is a must read for anyone who is involved in any "Lutheran" church body (synod) as they have all gone apostate(non-believers) less the ELDoNA. Martin Luther rightly condemned the false gospel of Universal Objective Justification with God's Word before there was any documented history of anyone teaching that damnable heresy. Dr. Jackson is also an excellent world history teacher in sharing the effects the Word has on people and entire countries. Almost every Lutheran Pastor covers up the wrong doings of his synod for secular gain. Don't trust any Pastor, test him!

Webber's presentation was a masterful review of Lutheran doctrine in this matter.
Dr. Jackson's writing commits the worst sin in biblical theology: it is boring. Also, the stuff one would expect of an heretic.
By the way, heresy is also really, really boring.
This is a boring book. Sticking crayons up one's nose is far more intelligent and edifying... and that is not an endorsement of that activity.

Dr. Jackson's book would probably be boring to people who reject the Gospel of Christ. For example, a Mohammedan or Universalist would probably find it boring or, more probably, offensive. However, for a person in need of the message of salvation by God's Grace, this book could be a great resource, Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone. Dr. Jackson demonstrates that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, alone.
