Holy
Baptism, The Lord's Supper, The Office of the Keys, and the preaching
of the Word (KJV) all depend entirely on the Word (KJV) NOT on the
worthiness of the one administering it or on the one receiving it.
In
contrast LCMS, WELS, ELDONA, ELS, Holy Scripture Lutheran Church (David
Hartman) turn the Lord's Supper into sin outside of THEIR church. WELS,
ELDONA, ELS, and Holy Scripture Lutheran Church all BAN me from the
Lord's Supper because the Lord's Supper in LCMS is SIN and conveys sin
to me. This is a common lie and heresy.
Christ's
Words (KJV) in the Lord's Supper NEVER convey sin or cause a person to
sin. Christ's Words (KJV) in Holy communion always give and convey the
blessings of forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
LCMS
officially uses Christ's Words (KJV) in Holy Communion in both the new
hymnal and the old 1943 red hymnal. LCMS pastors who do NOT institute
the Lord's Supper in Christ's Words (KJV) must be avoided.
Wicked
"pastors" who change the words of Christ's Last Will and Testament in
Holy Communion must be avoided. They love to substitute the word
"covenant" in place of the word "testament". Christ said " testament"
NOT "covenant". "So in this matter, you must above all else take heed to
your heart, that you believe the words of Christ, and admit their
truth, when He says to you and to all, 'This is my blood, a new
testament, by which I bequeath to you forgiveness of all sins and
eternal life." (Martin Luther, LW, vol 35, CPH, pg. 88) Luther stresses
the efficacy of the word "testament". "That little word "testament ' is a
short summary of all God's wonder and grace fulfilled for us in
Christ." (Martin Luther, LW, vol 35, CPH, pg. 84). Martin Chemnitz, the
second Luther, has a stern warning to all wicked "pastors" who change
Christ's words in Holy communion. "For since Christ instituted His
supper in the form of a testament, it is also not allowed at another
time to distort even a man's covenant, if it is confirmed, by adding or
subtracting. How much greater sin it is therefore, to change or mutilate
the testament of the Son of God." (Martin Chemnitz, Ministry, Word,
and Sacrament; CPH, 1981, pg. 122)

GJ - Tom has many good points. Thrivent shepherds the ELCA-LCMS-WELS-ELS, and all four failing sects are loving sisters working together. Abortion and gender bending are no problem if Thrivent endorses and praises its sisters. After all, they also work with a lot of public non-profit groups, so the sects dasn't violate Left-wing principles.
The pretense about "fellowship" is such a joke, everyone should laugh. The prosperous clergy and professors will avoid offending the prickly sect presidents. The only sin in any of the synodicals is not going along with the trends.
The Big Five are immersed in pop Calvinism, Church Growth, Catholicism, everything except the KJV Scriptures and the works of Luther-Melanchthon-Chemnitz. The Lutherans of today are mostly interested in mocking the Bible and Luther. A small faction promotes Roman Catholic worship fanaticism.
