Moving Plants

Falling in Love Rose - bi-color and fragrant.

Some might find it odd, but moving plants around the garden is fun in the right weather - or time of day.

We are experiencing cool mornings and evenings, but the mornings are better - no skeeters.

Moving a plant is a way of saying, "I never thought these other plants would be overwhelming." The earlier plantings of Bee Balm and Joe Pye have reached for the sky (8 feet for some Joe Pye) and spread out.

"Didn't you say Bee Balm was a mint?" - Some gardener is likely to write.

True, but I did not count on rainy summers, then one with plenty of rain and sunshine.

Whoopsa-Daisy should be a growing mound of flowers, but the bully plants are stealing its elbow room and sunshine. That makes it even more fun to move.

But not this morning, we have an early medical appointment.
