Strange Definition of Faithful - Engineering the First NIV Debacle, Enlarging and Promoting Fuller's Church Growth Fraud, Covering Up for Murder

Carl Mischke - He served His Lord, the Lord of the Flies.

"Be faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you a crown of life." (Revelation 2:10)
Rev. Carl Mischke served his Lord in many ways. He was a faithful husband, a good father, and a fine friend to many. He also had the privilege of serving as a pastor, nourishing God's people in congregations in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He is perhaps best known and remembered for his service to the synod, first as president of the Western Wisconsin District, and then, from 1979 until 1993, as president of the synod.
Last week, President Mischke received the crown of life that God had promised to his faithful servant.
President Mischke was the synod president when I was ordained in 1981. He provided leadership during times of both challenge and blessing. Early in his presidency, severe budget shortfalls needed to be addressed, sometimes with difficult and painful reductions in ministry. Not long after that, he oversaw what was perhaps the most ambitious synod-wide offering ever undertaken by WELS (called “Reaching Out”). He served at a time when the synod was facing major issues: the articulation of our synod’s doctrinal position on the roles of men and women; the creation of new districts; major adjustments to the synod’s ministerial education system; the acceptance of a new Bible translation (NIV); and the decision to move forward with the publication of a new hymnal [GJ - still the worst Lutheran hymnal ever].
Through it all, President Mischke remained a pastor, whose love and concern for souls was always evident. With an unbridled optimism rooted in the promises of God, along with a wry sense of humor [?], he faithfully worked to keep the synod faithful to God’s Word and to its God-given mission. For such service we thank his family for their lifelong support, and we thank God for blessing the synod through the faithful service of President and Pastor Carl Mischke.
Serving in Christ,
President Mark Schroeder

GJ - WELS beat up on the KJV for years before they forced the NIV on everyone, forcing pastors out for favoring the KJV, just as they forced out critics of AAL.
SP Naumann started Church Growth by endorsing it in TELL. Mischke poured on the gasoline. The Mischke administration was Fuller trained. He expanded it: they owed him.
Tabor and Just murdered their wives. The same sect that will trash and defame anyone for questioning its errors was exceptionally protective of its murderers, just as Schroeder was of its homosexual porn file swapper (Hochmuth).
Tabor moved to dah UP and the letters written against his joining WELS, because he was a known pastoral adulterer, disappeared. Tabor's mistress pulled the trigger, but the police always thought Pastor Tabor aimed the gun, as they say on detective shows. The Milwaukee Police were very sorry they never got Tabor indicted.
Al Just said his wife rolled over on a steak knife, about 30 times, in bed. I have had restless nights, but never fatal ones. Usually the first stab of a remote or dog biscuit will wake me up so I take immediate measures against further injuries. WELS took Al Just's side and bussed a bunch of brain-washed loyalists to Phoenix to defend the ALA high school teacher. He married his children's baby-sitter, who promptly dumped him when she got a view of the real Al Just. WELS still defends Just, which makes sense in a UOJ sect. He was born forgiven. He got out of prison fast and was last seen with a WELS youth group.
The Fox Valley scandals are not new. They are pure WELS. The same thing was going on under Mischke in Columbus, Ohio, where Tim Glende was trained in Church Growth and the sin of questioning pastoral adultery.
Schroeder is a product of WELS. He has participated in all this, by his conformity, and now leads it - rewarding the evil-doers, punishing the innocent. Mischke would be proud.
PS - Carl Mischke's son told one of my members that I almost destroyed WELS. That is a pretty fragile sect, if publishing the truth can destroy it. The truth is like a lion - do no defend it - just turn it loose.
