Bethany Lutheran Mission Car - Rice and Pastoral Transportation

 Pastor Jordan Palangyos found a car for a reasonable price, which they are buying on payments of $100 a month. Members and friends can contribute toward this.

Rice is the staple for people in the mission. We have donated funds to help buy rice for the mission. The car will help greatly in getting to the mission (three hours by public transportation) and in helping people.

Getting out to the mission has been a chore, but the Wuhan Flu lockdown in the Philippines has made things even more complicated. They have to wait in a line for hours to get a permit to travel. Public transportation is in demand and slow.

Bad weather and the new restrictions have made it difficult for people to get enough food, so Pastor Palangyos has been taking rice out to them. Members have given toward this.

There are two ways to give - do not send a check directly to the Philippines. American checks are expensive and difficult to cash. We use PayPal to send it to this account.

1 - PayPal directly
amabelpalangyos@yahoo.com

We are using that account because the non-profit account gets tangled up in banking complications. Some people like to send their donation directly via PayPal.

2 - By Check to Bethany Lutheran Church, Springdale

We put the checks in our non-profit church account and immediately send 100% of the donation to the Bethany Lutheran Mission. Our address is 1104 Letha Drive, Springdale, AR, 72762.

People can also donate directly to us, using PayPal at

bethanylutheranworship@gmail.com

There is no fee for sending to us, 1) If it is marked as a gift;
2) if there is money in the account. It is easy to send money free from one's bank account to PP.

You can mark how checks or PayPal donations are to be used.

 I commissioned Photofunia to create this coin for the Bethany Lutheran Mission car fund.
 Instead of renting the plane, I did a Photofunia graphic. I did not want Paul McCain complaining about our "rented plane." He is very fussy that way.
