Oberlin College in Ohio was named after a progressive minister, J. F. Oberlin, considered the first Social Gospel leader. He was very active in his community in improving living conditions.
Oberlin college began the same way but grew radical, as such institutions often do. The Gibson Bakery legal case developed because the college went nuts supporting false charges against the bakery. The wealthy college used their funds to continue attacking the bakery in court, but finally gave up - without apologizing. I have been following the case since 2016, so I ordered some cookies (a small sacrifice, you know) and talked to a worker there. They are overwhelmed with orders, so she sounded happy but nervous about the enormous volume of new orders.
So, pay attention to the Gibson Bakery in the news. Landmark cases have a way of changing legal cases across the country.

The original cost of cable TV was minimal, but once the big companies began charging for their monthly meal tickets, they could make billions from the volume of cable subscribers, without providing any quality.
We should continue to see enormous reductions in staff and income in the big entertainment companies and also in the "news" media.
