Here are the Almy costumes. The "Early Church" dressed up like Halloween? The Apostles could not afford it. The so-called High Church (Society of the Holy Trinity, only Latin STS) gained a foothold with Cardinal Newman, who led the English Episcopal clergy to Rome. Some did not leave but walked the tightrope, sinu-flecting toward Rome, a delightful term for slithering back and forth like a snake. The Protestant denominations have their papalist factions and glorify the clergy who have left the Reformation in favor of the Jesuit brand. ELCA was out in front, yet behind the rapidly shrinking Episcopalians. Smells and bells, extolled at the two LCMS seminaries, are literally a smoke screen, to hide their blasphemies and lies behind a cloud of incense. |
