Essential Difference Between Reformation Doctrine and the Drucker Lutherans

Most readers are familiar with the distinct difference between the Reformation (Luther-Melanchthon-Chemnitz) and the Thrivent-driven corporations of today (Matt-Liz-Mark). Luther always emphasized the priority of faith in Christ while the Drucker Lutherans teach his clumsy, self-centered corporate management schemes.

The Reformation teaches Jesus Christ the Savior, born of the Virgin Mary, Teacher, miracle worker, healer of the deaf, blind, and palsied, who suffered for our sins, rose from the dead, and ascended into Heaven.

The Drucker Lutherans teach themselves only, glorify themselves, and bully anyone who dares to dissent from their program of blunders. Question them and their quisling subordinates and watch the rage build up. "You dare question the Great and Terrible Oz?" (Smoke and sound effects follow.) They have no time for the Prince of Peace, because they are the Popes of Purgatory.

At the wedding, the father of the bride said, "Our church is closing. The last few members have dropped out." Luther pointed out how little time Jesus spent in the Temple, how much time speaking to people without special facilities. The Vatican agenda is still focused on impressive buildings and works.

I wonder how much Mirthless Mark regrets his multi-million dollar palace. Someone recently wondered about the emptiness of the LCMS Purple Palace, designed shamelessly as homage to the synod presidents. Even the ELS has an overbuilt and aging Schwan complex. WELS and the Little Sect on the Prairie have expensive sport facilities for higher education, a princely debt for two gyms.

The 1987 ELCA merger was  blessed by Peter Drucker.
