Poor Choices at Concordia Publishing House

bruce-church (http://bruce-church.myopenid.com/) has left a new comment on your post "Watching the LCMS Go Roman Catholic, More Popish t...":

Most Lutheran theology books from the Age of Orthodoxy remain untranslated and out of print, yet the Apocrypha takes precedence. CPH only has a few volumes of Chemnitz in print, for example, and no volumes from many of the Orthodox Lutheran theologians.

GJ - CPH seeks mammon first, not the Kingdom and its righteousness.

For the purpose of clarity - Lutheran Orthodoxy does not include Walther and Pieper. The age of Lutheran Orthodoxy followed the publication of the Book of Concord and faded with Pietism.

UOJ comes from P:ietism and is alien to the Reformation and Lutheran Orthdoxy.

James Heiser is primarily responsible for the publication of Lutheran Orthodoxy books.

Jack and Robert Preus did a lot for the publishing and study of Lutheran Orthodoxy.
