| Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, ELCA. I was predestined to attend this grim, newly merged seminary in 1970. The remains of seven seminaries can be found here, but there is very little interest in attending. I did not even visit until I needed some books for my dissertation. Here is one response to Union's contrition for plant abuse. |
Union Seminary's touching confession of sins to our subjugated plants motivated me to look over the school's tuition and faculty. Union never affiliated with a denomination - unlike LSTC - and established a reputation as a cutting edge theological school.

Studying at Union is expensive. I could not find an end to its mandatory charges piled on top of ridiculous tuition fees.
The Union faculty is cray-cray, a basket of radicalisms - womanist, gay, religions of the world, plus Scripture as a target of their mockery.
They once had a reputation for famous faculty and alumni, which drove them over the cutting edge of liberalism to stupefaction. If you have not followed this blog, which "no one reads," then you are unaware of the steps leading to this state.
