Perhaps Inter-Marriage Is Making Christianity Generic

bruce-church (https://bruce-church.myopenid.com/) has left a new comment on your post "In the Spirit: Crash involving Lutheran Bishop Bru...":

The lady that was hit by the Lutheran bishop was Catholic. I just read on Church Mouse's blog that in the 1950s, 9 out of 10 Catholics married Catholics, but now only 2 out of 10 marry Catholics:

http://churchmousec.wordpress.com/2013/03/07/la-nouvelle-theologie-heretical-menace-to-catholics-and-protestants/

...he did say that since the end of the Second World War in Germany and the United States, the percentage of Catholics marrying other Catholics declined from 9 in 10 marriages to 2 in 10 at present. That means that 80% are marrying Protestants (best case scenario), those of other world faiths or no faith at all.
