Hard To Convince the Spiritually Blind, Who Cannot Connect the Dots

LutherQueasies waved the white flag of surrender and abandoned their own thread again. They want to pick a fight about their beloved Universal Objective Justification, but all those experts on the Bible cannot muster a defense for UOJ in the ruling norm, the Scripture.

Their circumlocution for Justification by Faith is "denying UOJ." John Sparky Brenner takes the JBF evasion to a new level with "individual appropriation of forgiveness."

LCMS Pastor Steve Flo (CN writer) defines faith as "believing you are already forgiven," a frank but self-destructive explanation. Flo proved the basic error of UOJ two ways.

  • First of all, UOJ faith is not faith in Christ or faith in His atoning death, but belief in universal forgiveness without faith
  • Secondly, he was alarmed by my paraphrase of Romans 4:24, revealing - as I thought - that UOJists are so blind to the truth that they cannot see that truth, verbatim, in the Word of God.
The Scriptures are especially interesting in this respect; I have experienced that many times. That is especially true of the historic Gospel lesson for this Sunday, John 16:8ff. I will deal with that Sunday, in great detail.

Another example is the Canaanite woman - how Jesus treated her. The story, on its surface, is painful to read and study. However, once the integrated view of the Scriptures (used by Luther) is adopted, the miracle is not only beautifully clear but a great comfort to anyone in distress and asking God for help. It is one thing to have faith in the mercy of God when everything is going well, but when God seems to be silent at first and allows even more hardship piled on hardship, mockery for trusting in God (He must really hate you!). Long-suffering trust is challenged to the greatest degree. Matthew 15:22-28.

Another obvious trait of the UOJists - They are driven by a mad lust to destroy every expression of Justification by Faith. They shun and excommunicate those who teach their precious dogma, which they try in vain to portray as an improvement on the teaching of the Scriptures.

Look at Christian News - UOJ writers all: Walther, Walther, Walther, Pieper, Flo, Cascione, Montgomery, with a couple of rare exceptions for dead professors.

LutherQuest (sic) - More of the same, with Oh Jay Webber contributing links to his own website. They are confessional cowards who gather at the many shrines to Walther to toast his toxic wisdom.

Steadfast (sic) Lutherans (sic) - This is an international and intersynodical gathering of Biblical illiterates. They stick together on behalf of their guru, Matt the Fatt, and lesser nobles.

The senescent Steadfast editor Tim Rossow, with his familiar, erased all Justification by Faith answers to young Andy Preus, and called those faithful to the Bible "morons." Evidence of his hissy-fit was erased, of course, perhaps for revealing too much to us morons.
