Trinitarian Bible Society - Luther's New Testament

Luther's New Testament

 Justification by Faith

Martin Luther published his first translation of the Scriptures into German in 1522. The first printing quickly sold out and had an immense influence on Germany and the German language, and were read, cherished, and memorised by ordinary people. This New Testament paved the way for others during the Protestant Reformation and beyond to produce translations of the Scriptures from the biblical languages into their native tongues.
