Hail, Hail, The Gang's All Here:
What the Heck Do We Care?

Leonard Sweet is the object of Kelm's affection, below.

Voted "Least Lutheran" by fellow faculty members, Waldo Werning was invited. There are no photos of him on the Net. I wonder why.

"Ben Dover, The Church Doctor is ready for you."

Paul Kelm defended this fiasco, below, and went back to The Love Shack to continue his work for the Reformed.

Below is the Church and Change discussion on inviting Leonard Sweet to be the 2005 keynote speaker. There is such a parallel to the stealthy and deceptive Stetzer invitation that I thought it was worth publishing. A Missouri pastor protested all the line breaks, but I fixed as many as my patience and eyesight permitted. Cope.

The gang is all there for discussing and promoting their doctrine: Kudu Don Patterson, Stelljes, Kelm, Parlow, Ron Ash, Bruce Becker, Stroh, Jim Aderman, Peter Pan-denominational, Jeff Gunn, Tom Trapp, and Barry Spencer.

The conference was cancelled. To punish the erring brothers, WELS set up the next conference (2007) on the WELS.net server while SP Gurgel told people, "Church and Change is no more. It's gone. It's disbanded." Gurgel is in Texas now, the last I heard.

By the way, the Kelm defense of Sweet is rather bitter. The funny part of all this is the Church and Change discussion group - They practice closed communion. No one can get on that discussion group unless the Church Growth moderator approves. WELS membership is not enough, I am sure. Someone must be WELS and deemed safely brainwashed.
