Charlie Sue loves to burst toward the former dairy farm and race in the soft grass and soil. Sometimes she listens and runs full speed toward me, only to veer away and prove her ability. She can spend hours in the backyard, but the wide open spaces really suit her energy, speed, and trickery.
She has barked long distance at some dogs, and she can race along their fences for fun. The German Shepherd loves the word "Race!" and participates. We were getting back home when a huge pickup truck stopped and the driver asked for a particular house - Doggie DayCare!
Charlie greeted the large dog as it was getting out, then ran to the manager for hugs and petting. I always get the return to home run, even when next door. That was enough for Charlie's hunting in the dark (early morning), breakfast with the last of the sausages, and scouting the meadow.
