Teeny Tiny Colleges Do Not Last - Why Not Build a Giant Gym? New Ulm? Mankato? Bueller, Bueller, Anyone Anyone?

Northland College announces they will close

After multiple attempts to remain open, Northland College announced they will close at the end of the academic year.

...

The Northland College Board of Trustees voted to close the College.

“Despite the collaborative efforts of the entire Northland family, we no longer have the resources needed to navigate the economic and demographic storms endangering small, liberal arts institutions today,” said Ted Bristol, Chair of the Northland College Board of Trustees.

“With declining enrollment and soaring costs, it takes more to operate the College than we raise in tuition. Even after enacting aggressive measures to cut costs and raise revenues, Northland College has no sustainable path forward.”

Dr. Elizabeth Andre is a professor of outdoor education at Northland College. She says other staff members are trying to plan ahead for the coming months before the school shuts down.

“It’s a difficult process to close a college. There’s a lot of questions that they’re going to need to get answers to,” Dr. Andre said. “Faculty members are working to talk with advisees and try and figure out plans for each person. So people are scrambling and you know, it’s, it’s difficult right now to have answers to those questions.”

Tom Fisher Is Facing More Zero Degree Nights

Dear Pastor Jackson,

Yes, salt is wonderful. I have been using Himalayan salt and it works

Thank you for your prayers. The swelling on the gums is doing down and making steady improvement. Please pray God will help my immune system to completely knock out all infection. I have a long wait before I see the endodontist.

Tomorrow morning will be close to zero so I will need to start early. Things should warm up substantially on Saturday and into next week.

Then the Spring frost seeding of clover begins. Then lambing begins around April 1. No shortage of work, but I pray it doesn't interfere with my writing.

We see the evil fruit of Satan's twin lies:

1. That God has not perfectly preserved His Word in the TEXTUS RECEPTUS, King James Bible, Luther's 1545 Bible, and other exact translations emanating from the TEXTUS RECEPTUS.

2. That God has already forgiven the whole world prior to and without faith and Holy Baptism.

These two lies are the foundation of all the evil, corruption, fraud, and violence in this world. They encourage horrific evil.

They thought God did not see, hear, or know of their evil deeds. They thought they would never be caught and punished. Now we see the hand of God restraining and punishing these evil officials by the just government of President Trump. The United States government does not bear the sword in vain.

"Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity." Psalm 94:8-11

Evil "Lutheran Pastors" teach these twin lies of Satan as absolute truth. They PERSIST in teaching these two lies as truth in spite of the warnings from good faithful Lutheran Pastors and faithful Lutheran Christians. They harden themselves against the Word of God in the TEXTUS RECEPTUS and the King James Bible. The sermon of Stephen applies to them when he said:

51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Acts 7:51

Evil "Lutheran Pastors" who persist in teaching the twin lies of Satan as absolute truth have forgotten God. They have fallen from grace. They have no intention or desire to repent, but remain arrogant and condescending toward God and His Word in the King James Bible. They should tremble before the Word of God.

"But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.

18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God." Psalm 50:16-23

In Christ,

Tom Fisher

Former high school teacher faces charges for child sex crimes

WAUKESHA, Wis. — A former high school teacher faces multiple charges for engaging in sexual activity with a teenager.

35-year-old Justin Liepert of Waukesha was a teacher at Wisconsin Lutheran High School when he met the 16-year-old male working late on a theater production at school. He then messaged the teen to meet for sex using dating and social media apps from February to May 2024.

Liepert also used the apps to send sexually explicit videos to the teen.

Landon Zacharyasz, principal of Wisconsin Lutheran High School, issued the following statement on February 17:

On Friday, February 14, our administration was informed by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department that a WLHS employee was in custody due to illegal activity. The employee was absent from school on Friday and will not be allowed back on the premises.

We have since terminated this person’s employment with WLHS, as he has been charged with illegal activity that grievously violates the terms of our code of conduct at WLHS.

While we have no reason to believe the situation involved any WLHS students, we pray for any victims. Our school family is stunned and saddened by this discovery. We turn to our Savior to find strength and comfort, knowing he is with us during this difficult time.

The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community is our highest priority. We want to assure our community that all hiring decisions include thorough reference and periodic background checks as required by DPI and robust evaluations. All candidates must meet the high standards expected at Wisconsin Lutheran High School. We share our expectations regarding our standards of conduct with all employees and execute regular trainings to ensure they are understood in practice.

Wisconsin Lutheran High School remains committed to its mission of preparing young adults for productive, Christ-centered lives in a diverse world.

Liepert was arrested and made an initial appearance in court on February 17. He’s charged with felony child enticement – exposing genitals/pubic area/intimate parts as well as 3 counts of misdemeanor sexual intercourse with child 16 or older.

Cash bond was set at $5,000 and his preliminary hearing is set for March 19.

Case against Liepert

What we know:

According to the criminal complaint, a Waukesha police detective made contact on Nov. 24, 2024 with a 16-year-old juvenile victim. That person reported he had communicated with an adult male via an app called "Sniffies" between February and March 2024. That teen had also communicated with the same person on Snapchat and Telegram. The victim described the adult male "as a married, Lutheran school teacher," the complaint says. The teen indicated he met with the defendant "about three or four times," the complaint says.

When the detective checked the defendant's Snapchat account, it was discovered that "he is a teacher at a Lutheran school." The complaint goes on to say "records showed the user explaining that he teaches 9-12 grade at a private school." It also shows "the defendant's receipt of several sexually explicit videos" from the teenage victim," the complaint says.

The detective interviewed the defendant on Feb. 13, 2025. The defendant advised he has a Snapchat and Sniffies account. The defendant indicated he did not have his Sniffies account because he deleted it a few weeks prior, the complaint says.

The law enforcement conducted forensics on the defendant's phone. It "revealed that the defendant's map application reported the defendant visiting (the victim's) residence" on one day in March 2024 and two days in May 2024.

Martin Luther College's "Party in the USA" plagiarism was a big hit and very popular with all the students.

Wisconsin Lutheran High School statement

What they're saying:

Landon Zacharyasz, principal of Wisconsin Lutheran High School, issued a statement on this matter on Tuesday, Feb. 18. It reads as follows:

"On Friday, February 14, our administration was informed by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department that a WLHS employee was in custody due to illegal activity. The employee was absent from school on Friday and will not be allowed back on the premises.

The WELS pastor and council members cross-dressed and had children giving them female make-up.

Liepert's role:

FOX6 News reached out to Wisconsin Lutheran High School to clarify Liepert’s title and role at the school. Officials said in 2020, Liepert was hired as a teacher at the high school. In June 2021, the school's previous librarian retired and Liepert had the background and qualifications to take on the role as librarian, to fill that vacancy.

What's next:

Liepert made his initial appearance in Waukesha County court on Monday, Feb. 17. Cash bond was set at $5,000.

Michigan Lutheran Seminary (prep) is where Liepert went to high school.
The cross-dressing is very popular.

WELS Gay Agenda
The Wisconsin Synod is an abusive sect that promotes anti-Biblical entertainment at their high schools, college, and seminary. Not long ago a WELS pastor and his elders provided a cross-dressing picnic, where children were encouraged to dress the pastor and elders as women and wear make-up. That was a public outdoor gathering photographed and published on the Internet.

One Martin Luther College dorm plagiarized a Fire Island gay copy of "Party in the USA" with dorm men playing women, which aroused gay groups everywhere. The future WELS graduates were even more gross than the Fire Island originals.

Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary likes to promote gay and physically abusive events. The students used to pretend to sodomize the Sprinter statue, which was moved to the Watertown college. The initiation of one seminary group had their "pope" dressed up in drag.

Michigan Lutheran Seminary (a very small high school) likes to dress the male students in women's outfits for entertainment. Liepert graduated from that school.

Themes for the chapter - farewell address, completed ministry on earth, guarding (keeping) His Word, believing and praying for the believers, joy, protection from evil, sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth, Father loves the Son and the Son loves the believers.

KJV John 17

17 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Daily Luther Sermon Quote - Sexagesima - "And it is called a mystery because it is spiritual and secret, and indeed it remains so, where the spirit does not reveal it. For although there are many who see and hear it, yet they do not understand it. Just as there are many who preach and hear Christ, how he offered himself for us; but all that is only upon their tongue and not in their heart; for they themselves do not believe it, they do not experience it, as Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:14 says: “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God.”

Luther's Sermons - Luke 8:4-15.
Sexagesima

IV. WHY CHRIST CALLS THE DOCTRINE CONCERNING THE DISCIPLES AND THE FRUITS OF THE WORD A MYSTERY.

19. But what does it mean when he says: “Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Gad”, etc.? What are the mysteries? Shall one not know them, why then are .they preached? A “mystery” is a hidden secret, that is not known: and the “mysteries of the kingdom of God” are the things in the kingdom of God, as for example Christ with all his grace, which he manifests to us, as Paul describes him; for he who knows Christ aright understands what God’s kingdom is and what is in it. And it is called a mystery because it is spiritual and secret, and indeed it remains so, where the spirit does not reveal it. For although there are many who see and hear it, yet they do not understand it. Just as there are many who preach and hear Christ, how he offered himself for us; but all that is only upon their tongue and not in their heart; for they themselves do not believe it, they do not experience it, as Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:14 says: “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God.” Therefore Christ says here: “Unto you it is given”, the Spirit gives it to you that you not only hear and see it, but acknowledge and believe it with your heart. Therefore it is now no longer a mystery to you. But to the others who hear it as well as you, and have no faith in their heart, they see and understand it not; to them it is a mystery and it will continue unknown to them, and all that they hear is only like one hearing a parable or a dark saying. This is also proved by the fanatics of our day, who know so much to preach about Christ; but as they themselves do not experience it in their heart, they rush ahead and pass by the true foundation of the mystery and tramp around with questions and rare foundlings, and when it comes to the test they do not know the least thing about trusting in God and finding in Christ the forgiveness of their sins.

20. But Mark says, Mark 4:33, Christ spake therefore to the people with parables, that they might understand, each according to his ability.

How does that agree with what Matthew says, Matthew 13:13-14: He spake therefore unto them in parables, because they did not understand? It must surely be that Mark wishes to say that parables serve to the end that they may get a hold of coarse, rough people, although they do not indeed understand them, yet later, they may be taught and then they know: for parables are naturally pleasing to the common people, and they easily remember them since they are taken from common every day affairs, in the midst of which the people live. But Matthew means to say that these parables are of the nature that no one can understand them, they may grasp and hear them as often as they will, unless the Spirit makes them known and reveals them. Not that they should preach that we shall not understand them; but it naturally follows that wherever the Spirit does not reveal them, no one understands them. However, Christ took these words from Isaiah 6:9-10, where the high meaning of the divine foreknowledge is referred to, that God conceals and reveals to whom he will and whom he had in mind from eternity.
