I am reading this book for the second time. I read it slowly the first time, as there is a lot to digest. The history of liberalism in the church goes way back. What started as something seemingly innocuous has grown little by little until many mainline churches are but a shadow of what they once were regarding their beliefs. Today's misguided, chaotic and immoral world is the result of this. The cure is a return to God, to the Word of God and the Sacraments. Although this is a very serious book, it is still enjoyable and fascinating to read. I recommend it highly.
