The members of Peace Lutheran Church - Marshfield MO, WELS would like to publicly thank Joe Jewell on this page for the generous donation to our organ fund. This is the second year we have received a donation from Dr. Jewell simply because we still use The Lutheran Hymnal. His generosity is truly appreciated in our small congregation. Our organist is Judy Bertoldie and has been playing for various Lutheran churches for 65 years. She has been with us since our congregation started in 1993. We love TLH and are so thankful to have our faithful organist who contributes to our worship services in such a wonderful way.

By way of context for a couple of years now (at the end of each year, as a fun Christmas thing) I have attempted to identify all WELS and ELS churches using TLH and send each of those congregations some support for their organ funds.
I am hoping, as the Lord blesses me, to be able to do this again next December so if your (ELS or WELS) TLH church did not receive a note and check from me in 2024, I hope to get you in 2025!
Watch this group for the post in 10 months or so! (Or Confessional Lutheran Fellowship… I also attempted to post several times in WELS Lutherans but the posts were all deleted.)
