Thinking Out Loud - The Icha-Peek

Cattitude

I am definitely re-defining how I work. I started off enrolling in tutoring online, but that will wait a bit since I am already cutting back on one particular course.

The goal is to produce lectures online that will be easily accessed and useful for people looking for worthwhile Christian, Lutheran books. A relatively easy way is to base lectures on a published book, either mine or something from the Lutheran Library Publishing Ministry. As you know the free online books are prepared first (over 300 titles) and the printed versions are produced last for Amazon (large numbers, fill in both later).

I work the opposite way, starting with print at Amazon and also posting Kindle versions and free PDFs. Everything is non-profit and public domain now. I did add $1 "profit" to the KJV book, so I could track numbers of that book sold. The next ones will be non-profit and public domain.

One reader prompted me to follow the I AM sermons book with others, and I thought that could work, using a series for another smaller book. The I AM book is already at 30 pages and will be supplemented with more material before it is printed. I have Luther's commentaries and Lenski and "the text itself"  - that is what we know for sure, the original, apostolic Majority text.

Book reviews help the visibility of books, and people have been very kind to publish them. Amazon does not seem to like my reviews of Alec Satin's work, so I thought I could place videos there instead, and videos when I base lectures on my own books.

I wrote about this before, but now it is getting clearer in my mind.
