Religion has had a bubble, too. Similar fantasies led to producing nothing of value. Pastors got caught up materialism, too. They called it serving God using other peoples' money for mega churches.

What did they really believe?????

When will a WELS pastor copy Schiff and with very little work retitle it to "Why the WELS Mess Should Have Surprised No One?"

Easy money also led to phony religion.

Faulty metrics lead to disaster in religion, too. Counting buildings and building size instead of counting souls will destroy many a church. Too bad the brilliant religious leaders cannot see it.

I thought he was talking about my church ... "always more where that came from."

False religions like false economies need to purge their excesses through bankrupcy. More church failures serve a useful purpose.
