If —IF— the universal justification of all sinners even without Faith, Word, or Sacrament is such a marvelous and uniquely 'Lutheran' teaching, where does it appear the historic Lutheran hymnody? Surely something as 'incredible' as UOJ would have been magnified in hymns by Gerhardt even if it escaped Luther's attention.
