Someone contacted me about previously serving as the pastor at Faith (CLC) in New Ulm, MN. Once that was established, I was asked to provide a photo from those years, because they are making a pastor picture wall. Would you be able to share?
I am always willing to share pre-historic photos when asked, so I sent one.
"Actually I am looking for a picture of you about the time you served. We are making a pastor picture wall. Would you be able to share?"
This was the bonus - "I have to say you have aged well. Do you have one of you for back then.
I have one of you and your wife. But you two are to (sic) close for me to
her not showing."
The emails ended with "Ok. TY. Have a wonderful"
Faith in New Ulm no longer holds worship services, as far as I could tell. They closed the Nicollet parish many years go. Sleepy Eye has a CLC (sic) parish, so maybe they have enough space for all the previous pastors.
Donkey basketball fills the rafters at the CLC high school/college/seminary, so they might want to increase the franchise.
