Standing Tall in 1918




This photo was taken in 1918.

It shows 18,000 men preparing for war in a training camp at Camp Dodge, Iowa .

World War I was a completely useless war that cost the lives of thousands.

WWI got rid of the king of Prussia, big Calvinist troublemaker in Berlin. Then WWII got rid of the fascist in Berlin. That's how progress is made in history--through wars.
