I'm not publicizing this to gossip, but rather to point out one of many direct paths between Mark Jeske and WLC and other rotting WELS churches.
I used to live in Colorado Springs and had visited Font of Life, I can tell you that in a few short years they have really come out of the (Evangelical) closet. Back when I met Uhlhorn he was still pretending to be Lutheran. When I heard the Lambrects received a "call" to Font of Life I knew the church was going to try to become a megachurch.
Watch the other WELS church in Colorado Springs: Salem Lutheran. The Pastor is trying to do things right and the congregation has long been considered 'the dorky WELS church in town'. I imagine the folks at Salem are feeling a lot of pressure to conform to the "hipness" of the other WELS church. Keep them in your prayers.
