Holy Word Follows Protes'tant Recipe
For Getting Rid of Members

Holy Word (WELS) Staff Minister Chad White attended Exponential with District VP Don Patterson.
Chad's wife, Cindy, seems to suffer from separation anxiety.

You're Out of Order
Joe Krohn: That was it in a nutshell and took all of about six and a half minutes.  Of course the Holy Word Voter's meeting went on for longer than that, but we did not stay.  There was no need.  We were terminated.  But it was nice to see some familiar faces and catch up a little bit at least.

Some said hello to us and said it was good to see us.  For others in such circumstances it was difficult I'm sure. Pity that none of the laity (unless you were an Elder or Councilman) that was present today that voted on our dismissal even knew what the point of contention was.  Holy Word's leadership did not distribute their 'Letter of Termination' nor our letter of rebuttal dated August 9, 2011 to anyone outside of their conclave.

I will say this about the leadership at Holy Word:  They are consistent except for one fatal flaw that was caught on my recording today.  We were not allowed to discuss doctrine in the meeting today.  When Pastor Patterson and the Eldership put the hammer down on us in their email letter of May 21st, there would be no discussion of doctrine from that point going forward; only the matter of fellowship could be discussed.  I have this in writing on more than one occasion when I pressed them for an open discussion regarding justification.

And yet in the meeting today, Brad Johnston clearly stated that we were afforded on more than one occasion to meet with Holy Word representatives to have a doctrinal discussion, but that we refused.  This is a flat out lie.  The offers were to discuss 'fellowship' and not the doctrine of justification. Needless to say we will appeal to the District President and pray for a fair hearing there. Kyrie Elieson!!!
District VP Don Patterson, aka The Don, aka Kudu Don,
is the poster boy for Church and Change, but denies it. He attended the "last" Church and Change conference.
Church and Changers are raising money at Holy Word, with the blessing of Patterson and Gurgle.

A fair hearing from the District President? You're kidding, right? Just like the fair hearing Rick Techlin got? I know you know better. You're better off without these people.

They would rather have people quit in disgust, so they can tell their stories without any hint of the truth.

As long as the Intrepids celebrate another four years of SP Schroeder, these atrocities will continue. Schroeder cannot answer a letter, but he can get on the phone with Herman Otten to spin the gay MLC video. The Germans have a word for this behavior - shameless. The WELS leaders have reached a point where they are incapable of shame, because they are "born forgiven," as their favorite Roman Catholic theologian, E. Preuss, taught them.

Hmmmm....

I was always taught that I was born with "original sin"....

BTW, the LCMS has been of on this kick about "re-baptizing". You walk up, the pastor applies water to your forehead and then does the sign of the cross along with the words "....in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit." I don't believe the word baptize is used, but the implications are very clear.

Especially prevalent around Resurrection Sunday....

Pastor GJ! Please do not drag Cindy into this, she is a sweet person and it is NOT her fault that Pastor Patterson is a Church and Change/Mark Jeske follower. Is this picture shopped, or did you get it of facebook?

Be proud of your Lutheran heritage. Martin Luther was not trying to change the church. Could the Sanhedrin stop Peter and John? No! Peter and John were commanded to obey God rather than man. Also, Holy Word is not the only WELS congregation in the world. I would advise the Krohn family to drive to Temple or Duncanville.

In Christ,
Rebecca

Cindy proudly posted this photo in her FB album. It is not a Photoshop. That sort of thing is beyond my ability and not my style.

The Church and Changers should be shown for what they are.

What Pastor Jackson does here is light in comparison to what happens behind the scenes in many WELS locales. Injustices continue to occur while those who have the power to make change don't. BTW I disagree about Martin Luther; he did want the church to change...why else would he post the theses?

That photo (on top) is REAL ?

I am always a little disturbed (albeit delighted also) when a woman posts an obvious "cheesecake" picture of herself.

When it is in connection with a significant other/husband, I am even MORE disturbed....why would you display your woman for other men's "enjoyment" ? If the woman posted it herself, is she "shopping for an upgrade" ?

Don't people realize that people actually sometimes LOOK at the pictures they post on SOCIAL networking sites?

Maybe it's me that is messed up in my thinking, and the rest of the world is ok...

Oh yeah, no preps/colleges/seminaries closing...bazingoo...etc....

Yes, that is the photo Cindy posted in her own FB album.

Many in WELS have a strange idea about being cool.

Ski and Glende managed to stoop lower with their slobbering photos with Katy Perry and others. No wonder Patterson and Glende are FB friends.

That is another disadvantage of Facebook, information leaks all over the place.

People in the WELS do have a strange idea about being cool. Usually it's about ten years behind the rest of the country. I knew the leisure suit was coming to an end the first time I saw a WELS pastor wear one. The white undershirt was just too much to behold.

Who's the tart in the photo? Did Ski or Glende pose with her backstage someplace?
