A Mighty Fortress - Joe Krohn

But notice how Holy Word (WELS) in Austin treated Joe and Lisa Krohn:

Pity...such a beautiful facility and still very much a viable venue for worship. The sanctuary is a musician's dream aurally...the move north I have heard was already on the radar when the laity sprung for this. I am speechless...

I may be wrong, but Joe and Lisa needed one voter to vote against their release for the sake of clarification, and then they would have been able to discuss the matter with the voters.

Thank you for the beautiful presentation of A Mighty Fortress Is Our God. During the DFW area joint Reformation service, we too sang A Mighty Fortress with the organ and trumpets playing. This was included in the liturgy:

Spoken by the Minister-"Sing to the Lord, you saints of his; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime."

Spoken by the Congregation-"I am a sinner and I am a saint. This is what the Lord says. I am a sinner in God's sight, not because God made me a sinner, but because I inherited the sin of my parents and because I sin every day. At the same time I am also holy in God's sight, not because of what I have done, but because God has declared me righteous for the sake of the perfect life and atoning death of his son. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. I am a saint, God's own child, and an heir of heaven."

Pastor Benjamin Tomczak preached a fine sermon on Acts 14:19-25. He also preached that we are justified through faith in Jesus. Communion was administered during the service. With the large attendance, we had to sing two hymns during the distribution.("Jesus Christ, Our Blessed Savior" and "Here, Oh My Lord, I See You Face To Face") The Reformation Service exceeded my expectations. I give all gory to God!

In Christ,
Rebecca

The voter's meeting followed Robert's Rules of order (no not Timmermann...but one could argue) and there was no discussion really...only me and I was refused any discussion. I had asked weeks before for their copy of articles of incorporation and was only offered to meet about fellowship. Moot point, wouldn't you agree? They stonewalled, spread propaganda and then voted us out. Plain and simple. I never had a fair hearing with laity.
