| LI - We are a bookish family. |
I will be sending out our first review copy offer tomorrow. (It will be The Gospel According to Isaiah 53.) Until then, I wanted to make sure that you have a few pieces of information about the program so that we're all ready to start reviewing soon.
1. Please read this one-page document on the purpose, process, criteria, and guidelines for Kregel Academic & Ministry reviews.
2. If you have not already, please add my email address to your contacts list (so your email program doesn't think we're spamming you) and adjust your settings to always show you the graphics contained in emails from me, so you can see the covers of the books we're talking about. As everyone knows, judging a book by its cover isn't a reliable plan, but we do try to make the covers communicative of the content and tone of each book!
3. Tell somebody about the program. Perhaps you could email your blogging friends about it and put our banner in your blog's sidebar. We would give you lots of virtual high-fives for this. It's a very small program so far, but the more we grow, the more funding will be available for the program; and thus, more participants = a better program for everyone. (Also, I'm not planning to limit the number of review copies available for any given book.)
4. Let me know, now or in the future, if you have any questions or comments about this program, Kregel Academic books, or Kregel Publications in general. You have my ear.
5. Please check your profile and update it if needed. If we have the wrong address or no address on file for you, we won't be able to send you books when you request them.
