The find the Legion of Mary, Roman Catholic, especially interesting. One wealthy insurance supervisor was always praising them and saying how their priests were very special. I thought, "Especially the founder of the order Macial Marcial," but I kept my silence. Here is another example - Father Thomas Williams, now a real father, Father Thomas Williams, who was big in the Legion of Mary, got his mistress pregnant twice, and became a layman.
Cardinal McCarrick is now a layman, but he carried on for decades.

What do these monsters have in common? Not Roman Catholicism, but narcissism. Lying their way through life, their corruption was not a hindrance to their careers, but leverage that propelled them upward.

Which Denominations Are Different?
I ran across the old Glende-Ski case, where they took their victims to court, after doing everything possible to abuse and humiliate them.
"The child is the father of the man," as the poet said. Glende was a bully and thug in the WELS schools where "he studied Greek!" He grew up to be a thug and bully as a pastor:
- Excommunicating a member for telling the truth about his plagiarism. Remember WELS admonition to observe Matthew 18 and tell someone about his sins? Do not bother with a narcissist bully. They always strike back.
- Taking a man to court - four lawsuits against the same man - for telling the truth about Ski. Since Glende made this attempt in a court of law rather than in the bars of Mequon, he lost bigly.
How did the holier-than-thou, Matthew 18/Eighth Commandment spouting WELS react?
- WELS invoked everyone short of the Virgin Mary to spare couple of louts. Zank and Patterson made sure that Ski was whisked out of town for a new call, with SP Schroeder paving the way.
- Nothing was done to make amends with the victims of Ski and Glende, who were both charged with behavior qualifying for a fast, security exit from any decent company.
- Glende was invited to speak to the WELS teacher's conference (mostly women). As a good example?
- The Fox Valley pastors engaged in anonymous attacks against this blog by creating a blog with a similar name. Such copycats, such WouldBeBads. Apparently a sober talk with a lawyer made them erase it pronto.
