The best way to win a battle (apart from never firing a shot) is letting the other side win for a time. One explanation of the Battle of the Bulge is this - we wanted the Germans to come out of their fortress and attack. That was the best way to defeat them, so they were enticed by our apparent ignorance. They came out with everything they had and almost reached the gasoline supplies. That exposed their flanks and they were cut off.

I know Nimzovich a little better. In chess, which is like war, every attacking move is also a weakness. The ones burning the cities are not new - they were present years before, working on plans to do this. Their plans were intercepted and counter-measures were prepared.
When the "losers" fall back even more, feigning weakness, the attackers go all out and lurch forward. Although many known criminals seem to be free, the well informed Americans and their friends around the world are getting their news from a variety of sources not owned by the Big Six who control all news in the US - Disney, etc. CNN and MSNBC are the funniest news satires of all time. They remind me of That Was the Week That Was, a classic TV news satire. But I move around the Net for real news.
The corrupt do not like people thinking for themselves. That is why synodicrats control their news and budgets, confusing threats with management. They even dominate blogs so that only their self-inflating "news" gets out.
We know the salaries and benefits of Congress and the President of the US, but we do not know what Harrison, Schroeder, and Pope John make. How many Thrivent dollars ease their lives with luxuries too rich for those who actually work?
I see a parallel too impressive to ignore. The fall of the Deep State is also the end of the Deep Synod. They were not incensed at having their congregations shut down for an extraordinary length of time. They did not have the balsam to argue their First Amendment rights for freedom of worship. Instead they cowered in their plush offices, drawing down their synod endowment funds to stay afloat.
