~"Greg, shut the hell up you pathetic LOSER!"~

Disdain for pure Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions leaves the apostates with nothing of substance to say but to quote from their Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal and Universalist teachers. Stormtroopers don't forget your mantra, "I'm already forgiven, I'm already forgiven, I'm already forgiven..."

1 Peter 3:8-17, "Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing."

Anon @ 1102...double standard there buddy. Why is it OK for GJ and all of his little wienie followers to carry on in lieu of the passage, but when someone calls you out...oh then the shoe is on the other foot?

Losers...

Little Wienie followers?!?

Well, I'll have you know that the only reason I don't use the restroom when traveling through Washington D.C. is that whenever they see something too big to fail, they nationalize it!

First, I signed my name at 11:02pm - there was nothing anonymous about my statement as there is with yours.

Second, you believe, "Greg, shut the hell up you pathetic LOSER!" is calling someone out? This is only crass adolescence from what very well may be a WELS pastor. (I say that because of the simularitities with other comments of the same quality made by someone of the same name - another good reason to sign your real name when making a confession of faith)

Third, the false teachers within the Lutheran churches who having been shown their error and intentionally corrupt the pure Word, declaring justified in Christ those of the world who are under the law and dead in sin, distorting Confessional Lutheran doctrine and destroying souls are not to be treated as though they are brothers in Christ. They are wolves who tear at the Word and steal away the faith of children, women and men. The passage above refers to them when God says, "but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil." 1 Timothy 5:17-20, "Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear."

Pastor Jackson's approach to showing people the true nature of the false teachers mixes sarcasm, satire and the wolves own words. There are many who see the truth and are not offended but learn how to identify the wolves and contend for the one true faith. There are even more who see the truth and are offended, never learning and always angry and bitter.

The ability to discern between Christian and heathen, pure doctrine and false doctrine is a gift of God, by grace, through faith worked by the Holy Spirit, established and stregthened through the study of God's clear Word and the Lutheran Confessions.

In Christ,
Brett Meyer
