Stan Olson's Hometown Congregation Left ELCA.
His Job Disappeared after the 2009 Convention.
He Now Heads the Bankrupt Wartburg Seminary

His job at ELCA headquarters disappeared.
His daughter is living with her female partner, as reported in the YDS alumni magazine.
He is from Eagle Grove, Iowa.
A prophet is not without honor, except in his own farm town.

ALPB link for Bruce Foster:

Two more Iowa congregations joining the NALC:

Emmanuel Lutheran, Grafton:  2nd vote passed Sun Nov 27 94-15.  Then voted to join the NALC 104-6.

Samuel Lutheran, Eagle Grove:  They left the ELCA 2 years ago and were independent.

As soon as they are officially received by the NALC Executive Council, the Iowa Mission District will be up to 28 congregations.  And there are more on the way.

Ken

They will also bring the total of NALC congregations to 299.
