I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4

NEW ULM — A pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in New Ulm is one of 13 men caught in a prostitution sting.
David Carl Bendix, 36, has resigned, according to a story in the New Ulm Journal.
The newspaper reported Bendix is taking responsibility for what he called a "grave error in judgment."He told the Journal: "On Friday, in a moment of monumental weakness, I clicked on an (Internet) ad that I shouldn't have. I followed up on it and agreed to meet someone at the Microtel, and was arrested."Police also released on Thursday night the names of the 12 other men caught in the sting, most of whom live in south-central Minnesota.
