Herman Otten's
Christian News complained that Paul McCain was an "unelected ruler" in the LCMS. Who made that happen? Herman Otten did. He arranged with Paul McCain to get early copies of Al Barry material, turning the unknown DP into the Synod President. Paul and Herman separately bragged about their methods to me: both also denied to everyone that they worked secretly (almost secretly) together. If Herman had told the truth, McCain would now be chanting the Rosary in an ELS parish in Northern Minnesota.
