That now fully matches the ELLC text used by some other church bodies, including the ELCA. Many other historic Lutheran hymns are likewise removed. Luther's "In Peace and Joy I Now Depart" bears a new tune CHULA VISTA, with the original relegated to the digital edition. Getty sees more hymns included than Luther or than Gerhardt. The Q&A boasts: "There will be a wide selection of hymns by Keith and Kristyn Getty and some other modern hymn writers like them." The post-communion canticle is merged into the closing hymn, which is optional.
