| Paul L. Holmer |
Paul L. Holmer had students come to him so they could argue. In the 1970s he was far distant from the ordinary ones who wanted to show off, and Holmer enjoyed the debate.
Holmer pointed out that the Big New Idea would start out as a great idea and fizzle down to nothing in 50 years, the books and articles worn out by the same theme, only to start all over again.
Holmer was just the opposite, and he hid that great effort of his own, letting others study it, post mortem. He was a Christian philosophy of the best kind.
But one professor (at another university) was even worse than the bad ones, until the most famous one revealed himself. Looking back 50 years, how many "About" professors left a mark about the truth rather than their momentary "About"?
