The Spirit at Work

I began to work on a mechanical approach to the Holy Spirit. But - After a few words down, I was reading pneumatology, which I thought sounded like being in long line at a very slow retail store.

Beginning with faith in Christ is central to all we read in the Scriptures. I might add that the Holy Spirit is there at the beginning of the Bible.

KJV Genesis

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Three verses include the Father - In the beginning; - the Spirit moving over the face of the waters, and - Let there be light.

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God - the triune description of the Trinity.

The same was in the beginning with God - the Trinity is God and Three.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made - the Trinity is unified.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men - the Life is in Him, and the Light of Men reaches all people.

The second part of God's work is His Son's visual revelation in Matthew and Luke. That has manufactured a lot of devilish, trying to wrench the old and new Biblical parts away from each other, That is when the Old Testament is clearly portrayed as the bedrock on which the Gospel was revealed - Genesis through Malachi.

Unfortunately, most of the intellectuals today are keen about watering down the actual wording of the Bible (KJV as the clearest and best ). The time has come to trust - yes to have faith - in God's own Word and Work. If the clergy and theologians cannot grasp God's Word, then why should the customers pay for and use the apostate, warped, twisted, rationalistic versions of their imaginations.
  1.  Opinions are not enough - they are man-centered.
  2. The latest ideas are not adequate - they are man-made.
  3. The current rages only tickle the fads.
