Yes.. we SHOULD play that game. This guy is the Commander-in-Chief and you should expect at the bare minimum this so-called 'articulate' President would at least be able to pronounce the name of the troops he commands.
Actually, that's par for a public school student. Of course, if any Republican said this, the MSM would be all over it for years. Remember when Quayle thought potato might be spelled potatoe. The MSM drummed him out of politics for that.
On another note, English spelling is rather like hieroglyphics in that it is not phonetic, like German is. So if we fault someone for a phonetic mis-pronunciation or misspelling, not only are we saying it's a flaw in his education, but it's also a judgment that he or she does not belong in the priest or ruling class who ought to be familiar with pictograghy.
