WELS Essay Files Warning:
Set Filter To Accept UOJ

bruce-church (https://bruce-church.myopenid.com/) has left a new comment on your post "Teaching Against Justification By Faith Has Toxic ...":

"There is so much of this UOJ bile in the WLS online essay files"

True. I have my browser SafeSearch filter set to No UOJ, and the filter clogs up and computer crashes every time I navigate to the WELS Essay files.

The WLS essay file!(aka "The Holy Grail") Walter Maier's essay is in the file. Speeking of essays, the South Central District met this week for their Fall Pastor's Conference. There were four essays which discussed the New NIV. One essay was downloaded yesterday, but I was unable to share it with pastor GJ. Pastor Glaeske reported on some interesting happenings. I will check to see if the report is downloaded. According to the minutes, Time Of Grace's RSO status was one of the issues talked about at the conference. One paper was titled "Justification and Synergism."

Also, it is my understnding that this new committee on translation is composed of different pastors than the ones before the convention. One of the pastors is from my district. The SCD has been very vocal concerning their opposition to the NNIV. Before everyone starts considering the Holeman Bible, I would suggest you research what the Dean Burgeron Society has graciously warned concerning the apostasy withing the contents of the Holeman translation. It was an eye opener! I have heard from several sources that the Beck family has offered to give WELS free domain of the Beck Bible, if that is the translation which is chosen.(no copyright issues, and we could have freedom to change things is needed!!!) Then again I like the KJV, but that kind of makes me look like a fudy dudy. See Pastor Michael Sullivan's letter to the editor in the OCT. Forward in Christ A Lutheran Voice. He gave Braun the WHAT FOR concerning the NNIV. Sullivan has got some spine. I see him on Intrepid Lutherans and his comments are very solid but gracious.

In Christ,
Rebecca
